This is because you were already logged into the site as an admin. If you weren’t logged in as an admin you wouldn’t be able to connect Central to the site from the Central Dashboard without entering your site credentials.

Hey @cs3029,
Yes, Central has an API which the Wordfence plugin communicates with. I originally thought you might have security concerns since it connected without needing credentials at that time.
