WordPress backup and restore problem

    Hello,

    I have a big problem with my wordpress site. I want to change my hosting from host monster to turkey hosts. I tried a lot of plugin, i tried manual transport but i didnt. I transfered files from one server to other. Example i used akeeba backup, there was no problem for creating backup, i transfered .jpa file and kickstart.php, but it didnt saw my database. My files are 1.2 gb my database is 14 mb. I tried wordpress cloner plugins, backup plugins. But failed. Could someone help me about this problem ? Thanks.

    Your site have any text widgets. Are you try it manually?

    I tried it manually. But when i want to open page , download a file , its name is “download” only and a blank white page.

    You have control panel detail?

    1. Go to file manager and get archive the “wp-content” folder then download it
    2. Install fresh new wordpress on your new sever
    3. Remove wp-content folder on your new site then upload wp-content.zip(old site backup) the extract it
    4. Download your DP and replace new site names
    5. Over write with new db on your new site

    Are you try this steps?

    @a2ztechnologies may be right with that, but what about asking your hosting providers?:)
    I think there have such an information how to import/export data.

    I tried all of them, now i cloned with cloner plugin but some images are missing. Now i am compressing wp-content folder, i will transfer it to new hosting and repoen on new hosting. I think on windows extracting is problem about 256 character. I will extract from c-panel from the site. Server is linux. I think problem will solve thanks for your help.

    I am not sure what you try to say. I hope this is manual method. If you have anything post. I learn it too
