I started out with a problem of not being able to delete links in my Links section. I figured the first step in troubleshooting would be to make sure I was up-to-date with the lastest WordPress version.

So I go to upgrade and find a neat little plugin to automate the upgrade process. Grab it. Install it. Activate it. Run it.

All appears to go well. No errors. Everything says “Update was successfull”.

Problem is that now my blog is stuck in update mode and none of the plugins reactivated automatically. The version is still 2.0.3.

I’ve surely done something wrong, but can’t find an error message.

    Any ideas?

    *sigh*

Now it’s even more messed up. I tried to manually upgrade using the instructions on the wordpress.org site and I have NO idea what the heck it’s doing now. It’s automatically redirecting to another blog on the server ina completely different directory.

    I’ve really messed up here.
