    Is there any bug in WordPress 5.6?

    We have auto-updates disabled on our website for WordPress core, but our websites got updated to 5.6 automatically.

    I have reverted back to the previous version 5.3.3 and after 15 minutes it’s updated back to 5.6. Not sure why it never happened before to any of our websites before.

    Hi @caronlab

    Are you on 5.3.3? That shouldn’t have auto-updates for major releases (like 5.6) unless you had defined/enabled them manually.

    With the WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE constant set to false (as per your screenshot), it shouldn’t autoupdate anyway.

    Check with your host – are they forcing the update, or, is there a plugin you’re using to manage WordPress update?
