WordPress as CMS: Unnecessary Tables

    Hello

    I am using wordpress as cms with page templates.
    I do not have any comment functionality and no need for a link table in the database. But I do need the post tables.

    I wonder if it would speed up my site if I delete all these unnecessary tables.

    Any suggestion? Thank you.
