I think I’ve been on that list for I don’t know how long…. never once got anything either…

!! Okaaaay….. now I can’t even find a link to the page where someone signes up and or checks on their status….

EDIT: Ok, I found how to sign up…. so I did… I think….

Subscribing to the development blog (which, BTW, is also picked up as part of the admin dashboard feeds) would do the trick.
