    Hi!

I have a website that I created using dreamweaver. it turned out quite ugly and I was redommended to start using wordpress instead. Since I used dreamweaver to upload my website I havent used any other programs, and I dont have a clue about stuff like ftp programs, mysql and all that. I just always clicked put, server, and then it was there….No database and all that..

Now when I installed wordpress(I have a mac btw) i just dont know where to go and what to do…

My filemanager that I got from the company “One” doesnt work on mac, so I am just sooo confused. Could anybody help me please??

    Thanks in advance!

This isn’t really a question for the WordPress forums as it is not a WordPress issue. Follow the directions on this page Installing WordPress.

You’re going to need to know how to perform basic FTP functions, like uploading. You’ll need to manually edit your wp-config.php file and you’re going to need to create a MySQL database and user. Follow the instructions from your web host on how to do that. That is necessary as the entire blog is database controlled.

Krystallia have you figured this out yet? i can help if not.
