WordPress adding extra code to post

    Hello, I’m adding some html to the bottom of a post for a dropdown menu advertisment and for some reason WordPress keeps adding a and then in the code making it not work when clicked. Can someone help me out with this?

    http://www.chicagocubsblog.net is my blog and the newest article is the one that I am talking about.

    do you have the option checked for wordpress to correct invalid code? that might be it

    I unchecked that box but it still doesn’t do anything different. I removed the and where I didn’t need them and for some reason it added them right back.

    I was under options > writing > and removed the WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically cbeckmark and saved.

    Any other ideas?
