when start create my website on wordpress, all files was downloaded on laptop then upload the wordpress on desktop without the file. I can open it as website page.
know I need the files so, my questions :
can I have these files on my desktop?
( IF ) there is a program needed to install?
can I have one account in two computer?
I use siteGround , I found all files there. before load them on my desktop.
Can I write new PHP file and add to them ?
or
if there is a specific file I can writ inside it?
I want make some changes on all pages that I create in wordpress, I will add IF statement
From what I understand, you want to download your WordPress website and deploy it on your local environment. But are interested in modifying some of the WordPress files as well.
I would recommend editing the files beforehand. Meaning, before you download them from your SiteGround hosting. You can easily do this from your cPanel -> File Manager -> locate the file you wish to edit -> Right Click -> Edit.
Alternatively, you can login with SSH and use vim to edit your files.
yes that right , I want to make changes similar to :
BUT , my changes will be in box that contain number of product. I would like to add if statement for counting the price with amount of product immediately without need to click on add to card.
for now I didn’t know which file must I use to make this change?
I hope you get my idea.
