    Hi Stephen!

after the Update to WordPress 5.5.1 it’s not possible any more to click
the list “Filter by User Role” or the button “Save and Update” any more.

Hope you can have a look on that issue.
Really need your plugin in our distributor reporting πŸ™‚

    greetings from Austria

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll take a look and see if I can figure out a new way to do it that is compatible with newest versions of everything.

I just updated everything on my dev site and turned on this plugin. Still working just fine for me here.

Perhaps some other plugin is conflicting? Or maybe WooCommerce made some changes to fix for the jQuery libraries WordPress removed in 4.5.0 (which broke a lot of sites). WP supposedly made a fix for 4.5.1 to allow those sites to work again until plugins and themes can be updated to not used those deprecated libraries.

My dev site is running WooCommerce 4.5.0-rc1, which hasn’t been released yet, and it worked just fine with that. I switched back to WC 4.4.1, and it still worked fine with that version as well.

    Thanks for your response Stephen!

Now I’m back home on my 27 inch iMac which has a higher resolution then my PC in the office. And here I can click on the drop-down-box. But only in the lower half of the control. Same on the button. The cursor of the mouse only changes on the lower half of the controls.

When I try it on my office PC I can not open the drop down menu nor can i click the button.
If I resize the bowser window to a smaller size I can not select the controls any more. If I double click the drop down box the cart control (which shows the statistics) of the page is selected –> I looks like the chart control is overlapping your controls??

    greetings

OK… seeing the same thing here if I resize my browser.

WC really screwed this up for me when they put that stupid javascript based menu at the top of all their pages, hiding my original form location. And, they have no hooks anywhere in the code for these reports to allow me to add my little form, so I had to try to squeeze it in using the WordPress admin_footer hook.

I’ll look around to see if maybe they have added any hooks I can tap into in more recent releases, but not really sure what else I can do at this point.

glad you could reproduce the problem on your side πŸ™‚
Maybe you can give your controls a higher CSS z value so that it’s always on top?

It’s worth a try. Currently there is no CSS for my plugin, but I’ll play with it to see if that might work. You’re probably the only person who actually uses this old plugin! =)

OK… tried changing the inline style for the containing div, and changing it to position: absolute; and setting right:20px; seems to work no matter what size I make my browser. Didn’t have to set a z-index.

I’ll push that update, and you can let me know (and mark as resolved), if this fixes it on your screens.

    Thanks Stepehn!!!

Just updated to version 0.3 and it works great!!!

I highly appreciate your amazing support!!!
For us this “old” plugin is really very comfortable to do the reporting based on our distributors πŸ™‚

Sounds like you had a bad connection or the zip file got corrupted during the download. Try again, or download the zip file directly and install again.
