wordpress 2.6 to 2.5

    Hi,

    I have a word press blog version 2.6 . I need to install another theme but to be able to incorporate that i need to have version 2.5 how can i change it from 2.6 to 2.5 without loosing my pages.

    Going backward is not a good idea…does the theme not work with 2.6? What’s the theme?

    nope unfortunately but the author of the theme is working on it. I really need to change it to that version.

    figaro’s advice is golden, but…

    Not sure how this would work but you could try it:
    1. Backup your existing database.
    2. Backup ALL your wordpress files.
    3. Follow Steps 7 and 8 of Upgrading WordPress Extended and upload the 2.5 files.
    4. Login and see how things are.

    If it doesn’t work, need to restore both files and database.
