When the site icon is added in the theme identity area, the icon appears on the admin area in a perfect style in WordPress 7.1, but when you are logged in and check the live website the icon in the menu is bigger and the text is cut.

The icon should be smaller like in the admin backend area.

Why this happen? Is there any fix?

Hi there,

Can you try switching to the WP twenty twenty five theme to test? Let me know if the issue persts.

That’s weird, as the site identity option is not from GP but WP. It should not matter which theme you are using, it should be controlled by WP.

If you change an image and clear cache, does that help?

cleared autotomize cache and the issue disappear..

Looks like this fix it.
