Wordfence plugin creating login password problems

    I had to deactivate word fence because it was preventing users of my membership site from changing their passwords. It also would not allow manually reset passwords to work for the users. I have used word fence for years and never had a problem but this has been an issue for several weeks. Deactivating word fence solved all the login issues.

    Hi @dmanherz, thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry to see that you’re having issues.

    Are you using a membership plugin for this functionality? Are your members trying to get the reset from the URL .../wp-login.php?action=lostpassword? Sometimes membership plugins that change the login/registration flow can cause incompatibility with our Login Security features. Here’s our list of known plugin conflicts.

    I could check some of the possibilities by knowing the URL and a bit more about your site, which can be shared privately through a diagnostic report. You can send that to wftest @ wordfence . com from the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Click on “Send Report by Email”.
