The wordpress site display error while installing Wordfence. I tried requesting a new free license, update, delete and reinstall the plugin, it still shows the error. Please let me know how I should proceed with this.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi @kityeng, thanks for getting in touch.

I suspect a JavaScript conflict might be affecting something from loading correctly and causing an issue with completing installation or confirming the license key. An error may display in your browser console for our pages if so.

You can troubleshoot this by disabling all plugins before reinstalling Wordfence and reverting temporarily to a default theme to see if you’re able to complete installation. If you can, reenabling everything again one-by-one afterwards can help identify the cause.

If you don’t notice any difference, when you reinstalled your license, did you pick up a fresh one? If not, it could be worth generating a new one as they can expire after 24h. There’s a full written and video guide here just in case any steps you were taking differ from ours: https://www.wordfence.com/help/api-key/#installing-your-free-license-key

Note that your email address is used for delivery purposes of a free license only and there’s no limit on how many a single email address can request.

    Many thanks,
    Peter.
