Wordfence falcon engine on Windows server

Hi,

Should the Falcon Engine also work on WordPress sites hosted on a Windows server? Asking because on my server there is no .htaccess file. Instead, there is a iirf.ini file which contains the permalink rewrite rules that normally go in the .htaccess file.
