Wordfence: could not instantiate mail function

    Dear all,
    all the wordfence notifications get follow error:
    could not instantiate mail function

    All the other email notifications for example current stock, new order ore something like that works 100%.

    Can anybody help us with this issue?

    Hi @lunchglaz,

    Can you make sure that the field Where to email alerts within Wordfence -> All Options is set to a valid email address?

    Hi Dave,
    thank you for your reply.
    Yes, there is a valid email adress set in the mentioned field.
    I Think about that it´s a problem with the smtp but all the system mails of other plugin mails works.

    I believe you are correct. That message is not something Wordfence generates. A search confirmed this is not plugin specific and is something to do with PHP mail not working.
