    Hi,

I have found a problem that I need help with. The site https://sparrisfestivalen.nu can’t be indexed by Google due to Wordfence. I’ve set the plugin to not block Real Google bots, and even all bots claiming to be Google, with no success. When I deactivate Wordfence I can index the site again. What is the cause of this problem?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @william546464,

Can you take a look at Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic to see why the Google bots are being blocked?

Are there any manual rules being set within Wordfence -> Firewall?

    Hi @wfdave

These are the reasons for the googlebot being blocked

United States was blocked for UA/Referrer/IP Range not allowed at https://www.sparrisfestivalen.nu/home/restauranger-och-gronsakshandel/fruktaffaren-h8/

    IP: 66.249.64.41 Hostname: crawl-66-249-64-41.googlebot.com
    Human/Bot: Human
Browser: Chrome version 0.0 running on Android
    Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 6.0.1; Nexus 5X Build/MMB29P) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/41.0.2272.96 Mobile Safari/537.36 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)

I found that the IP-range, that the Googlebot has been using, has been blocked by another user. I’ll have a word with him and remove the block then the problem should be solved.

    Thanks for your help!

    William
