Hello does the ‘Permissions’ plulgin work with Ultimate Member?

I have a situation where I want to provide post creation/editing permissions to one user, but where they can only create new posts in a particular post category. Also they should be blocked from changing/deleting any other content

Thanks for your interest in PublishPress.

In this case, you shouldn’t need any other plugins. PublishPress Permissions can prevent users from editing posts in a specific category. One example of this: https://publishpress.com/knowledge-base/how-to-restrict-wordpress-users-to-posting-in-one-category/

“Create” is a more complex task as the WordPress core approaches creating and editing permissions in the same way.
