Hey @acegdhrt77
It depends on how you (or the dropshipper) want to ship the parts – USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.
For example, let’s say you use UPS for this. In that case, you can use the UPS Shipping Method extension on your site.
Basically, in the plugin’s configuration you will need to set from where the items will be sent, and for all products you will need to set the dimensions and the weight. The plugin will then calculate how much it will cost to ship those items from the origin address to the customer’s shipping address, and add these shipping costs to their order.
Hope this clarifies it a bit! Let us know if you have any other questions.

I did some research and found out that the company she gets her parts from uses Fedex for smaller items and Truck freight from different companies for bigger items.
My friend suggested using flat rates for smaller items 0-5 lbs. $8 dollars and it increase a dollar by 1 lbs. increase.
for bigger items 150 lbs. is $150 for shipping and anything over the customer would need a freight estimate but I don’t know how I would flag a customer that exceeded the 150 lbs. limit.
Sorry if this sounds complicated is there a plugin that I can use that would help with this?
Thanks for the help
Hi @acegdhrt77,
That particular shipping setup would be a good fit for the Table Rate Shipping extension.
https://woocommerce.com/products/table-rate-shipping/
It lets you create a table of shipping rules so you can have various shipping charges depending on the products/sizes and so on in the order.
We do offer a 30 day refund option so you can try this extension out and it doesn’t work as you need it to, you can get your money back.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Cheers!
