• Hi. On my website, after a new client registers for a ‘My Account’, they will need to set up a billing address in their ‘Addresses’ area of their dashboard. I installed the ‘Flexible Checkout Fields’ plugin. Within the Billing address form, there is a field I want to remove – the ‘Apartment, Suite, Unit, etc’ field. In WordPress, when I navigate to Woocommerce, Checkout Fields, I’m greeted with the Checkout Sections, which include Billing, Shipping and Order. When I click on Billing, I can edit or add any field. On the ‘Apartment, Suite, Unit, etc’ field, I click on the down arrow and in the General tab, there are options to Enable field and Require Field. I leave these unchecked as this field confuses the client when they’re filling out the form as there already is a ‘Street Address’ field available – so I assume by unchecking these 2 options, this field will not appear on the Billing Address form – but it still does! With the Enable field and Require Fields unchecked on the ‘Apartment, Suite, Unit, etc’ field, the field still appears when a client wants to add a Billing address. Am I missing something or doing something wrong? How can I delete this field please?
