Does anyone know how to add a weight field to each checkbox item in an option list that adds to the total cart weight for shipping calculation please.

Example: I have a product addon called options which contains checkbox options that can be added to the variable product.
Each option curretnly is name of option, pricing type and price into this I would like a weight field.

I find it hard to believe that woocommerce didnt think that option addons to a product may have a weight cost as well as price.

    Many thanks for any assistance.

    Hi there,

Support for the WooCommerce Product Add-ons extension is provided if you create a ticket from this link: https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/?form=ticket

Select Help with My Product > WooCommerce Product Add-ons from the dropdown.

Thank you thup90, a few problems with that.

    1. I did raise a ticket through that url but have had no response whatsoever, not even an acknowledgement of the ticket being raised.

    2. The form does not have Help with My Product in it, it does have Help with My Extensions and in the drop down that appears from that WooCommerce Product Add-ons does not appear.

    3. In the original ticket I believe I raised it as WooCommerce Core.

    Hi there,

It’s possible that ticket wasn’t submitted successfully. Please try again and you should receive a message after submitting that the ticket is submitted, along with an email confirmation of ticket receipt.

    2. The form does not have Help with My Product in it, it does have Help with My Extensions and in the drop down that appears from that WooCommerce Product Add-ons does not appear.

Help with My Extensions is the same section as what I mentioned. Since this is a premium product, you’ll need an active license in order to qualify for support. If you haven’t already, you can purchase a license from this page: https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/

Once license is active on your WooCommerce.com account, Product Add-ons will show up in the dropdown of the contact form.

    3. In the original ticket I believe I raised it as WooCommerce Core.

You can also select WooCommerce Core but mention that you need help with Product Add-ons and send us the email address or an order number to verify your license.

Feel free to get back to us in case you have any additional questions!
