Hello WordPress, I just had a couple quick questions about WooCommerce and setting up shops for myself and others.

Is there a way to ensure that credit cards will be charged the right amount of money every time? If someone is overcharged or undercharged, who is responsible for that?

I plan on getting myself legally protected, but is there anyway to ensure that I won’t be liable for anything that I build with your software for other people?

Please let me know what you think, thanks!

    Hi @williamkwatt,

Please note that WooCommerce itself does not make the charge but rather works with Payment gateways like paypal, stripe, braintree etc to fulfill payment. As far as I know, the charges are done as expected but incase if you see an anomaly you could work with the support teams of the payment service provider to have this resolved. I have known that the support behind PayPal and stripe are excellent.

Legality will depend on which country you reside in and you could consult legal professionals if that is what you want.
    Cheers!
