WooCommerce Grouped Products Issue

Hi everyone,
Hoping someone can guide me in how to fix this, currently on woocommerce 3.3.3
I have a grouped product, now before updating, i could set the child products to hidden, and they wouldn’t show in search or in catalog but they would show under the grouped product and you could click the title of each to view that product further.
Now since latest update, I can only set as visible in catalog & search – any other options result in the child product not being a link.
Any ideas on how I can resolve this?
Frustrating to have a grouped product show in the catalog along with the 3 child products next to it in the catalog.
