The percentage shipping calculation stopped working after the update.

Hi @murilo777,
I’ve tried replicating this on my site, setting up the same flat rate shipping rule as you have, and adding two products with the same prices. I get the proper results though:

First, can you tell us if your WordPress, WooCommerce and theme are up to date? Are you using any plugin that would impact in your shipping or checkout experiences?
Have you had a chance to run a conflict test, yet?
Kindly let us know!
Thanks!
-OPThe problem occurs when I add “percent=”3″” in the configuration
The theme and wordpress are up to date.
We do not use any other plugins to calculate shipping.
Here is someone else with the same problem
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/woocommerce-standard-shipping-calculation-doesnt-work/Hey, @murilo777!
I was able to replicate the issue on my site and after doing some testing found out the issue is actually related to a known bug regarding the use of comma and dots.
For now, the workaround would be to switch your currency separators to have comma for thousand and dot for decimals, which I know it’s complicated since that’s not how it is used in Brazil.
We are doing our best to fix the issue as soon as possible.
We can’t specify a date when the bug will be fixed, it is still in progress. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, and we thank you for your patience.
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.
Have a wonderful day!
How can we temporarily fix this problem until a new update comes out? We cannot work without this form of shipping in our ecommerce.
I have the same problem. The problem occurs with odd percentages. If I use percentage numbers equal, the problem disappears.
To resolve you have to use: [fee percent=”2″] or [fee percent=”4″]Hey, @murilo777 & @giorip89!
I tested on my website and using an even number did not solve the issue on my end. But it is worth a shot, @murilo777 🙂
For now, the workaround would be to switch the thousand and decimal separators, as I mentioned early.
But rest assured our team is aware of the issue and actively working on this to have a fix out as soon as possible.
Have a wonderful day!
Hey, @murilo777!
A user shared another possible workaround here. Please take a look and check if it works for you, this one worked for me 🙂
Have a wonderful day!
Hi there 👋 ,
We haven’t heard from you in a while; this is to check if you’ve been able to update to 9.0.2 where the shipping changes were reverted, or to learn if you still need help.
Thanks!
