Woocommerce database not updating

    I recently updated the site from 2.6.8 to 3.5.2 and the woocommerce database is still at 2.6.8. I am not being prompted to run the updater. I tried to request it by using the “Update database” under the Status –> Tools tab. It says it is being scheduled to run in the background but nothing happens. The website works fine. How can I get the database updated to the current version?

    Hi @beigsti,

    Could you try adding wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&do_update_woocommerce=1 to your URL? This should hopefully work, I don’t think it’s a cause of the massive and wonderful update you are doing. 🙂

    2.6 -> 3.5 is a big leap but I assume shouldn’t cause the database update issues.

    Thanks for the response. When I try that I get a page with the error message “The link you followed has expired.”

    Hi there

    Can you check the Logs under WooCommerce>Status>Logs and see if there are any errors in a log that starts with wc_db_updates? You’ll also want to check for any Fatal Errors in that log for the time/date that you’re triggering the update to run.

    I still need help with this. Do I need to install an earlier version of the plugin? Any ideas?
