I am having trouble customising the description text, colour, page colour etc on the single product page.
I have the woocommerce customiser plugin, some of the customisable fields do work, others do not.
Incredibly difficult compared to the other aspects of editing the wordpress site, I have paid for plugins and quite upset at the amount of time and effort it is taking to do what seems to be so simple.
What work arounds/how can I overcome this issue moving forward?

    Cheers.

    Hey @beat055,

    That sounds really frustrating!

Your site seems to be behind a maintenance page so it’s difficult to see what’s going on.

What theme and paid plugins are you using?

    Thanks for your reply Neil,

I have paid for the divi visual builder. It works brilliantly with the wordpress site except for the product page, cart and checkout.
I have done a bit of research to find some work around, such as toolset plugin, woocommerce customiser, wooenhancer, none of which seem to help.
Short of learning coding I don’t know how else to achieve this.
Unfortunately I can’t even find a paid plugin that would help me!

I have taken off the ‘under construction’ page if you wanted to try again?

    Cheers,

    Dillon

    Hi Dillon,

If you’re still trying WooCommerce Customizer, you could shoot their support a message at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce-customizer.

Do you have the Divi shop module? Their demo doesn’t allow admin access so I’m not sure about what settings it offers you for product, cart and checkout pages, although I notice the front end of their demo looks largely similar to yours, so possibly there aren’t many options? (https://www.elegantthemes.com/documentation/divi/ecommerce-divi/)

It’s probably too late in the game to suggest alternatives, but I’ve had great experiences with Beaver Builder and Beaver Themer for making WooCommerce sites. I could completely customise each product page.

Or stick with Divi and try CSS Hero: https://www.csshero.org/plugins/woocommerce/

CSS Hero works great! Not 100% the best but it gets the job done.

Thanks heaps Neil I appreciate it.
