I encountered a problem where the product details page failed to display the credit card payment option except for the Paypal payment button.
I contacted Paypal officials and they said it was blocked by the disable-funding=card tag. As attached:

How should I deal with this problem

    Best regards,
    Thank you

  • Hey there 👋

    Thanks for reaching out!

It looks like you are experiencing a conflict with WooCommerce and the PayPal plugin you are using on your site, correct?

Can you please clarify which plugin you are currently using to enable PayPal as a payment gateway on your site?

Additionally, I’d like to take a closer look at your sites current environment, please can you share a copy of your sites System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce → Status.

Select Get system report and then Download for Support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR which you can then share with us here.

    Cheers!

The paypal plug-in uses:WooCommerce PayPal Payments

    Version:2.5.3

    Hey @zailushang

    Thanks for clarifying!

Since this forum is dedicated to support related to the free WooCommerce core plugin, could you please create a new topic in the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin forum for further help with this.

Here is a direct link to the WooCommerce PayPal Payments support forum:

WooCommerce: by Automattic – 8.5.2 (update to version 8.6.1 is available)

WooCommerce PayPal Payments: by WooCommerce – 2.5.1 (update to version 2.5.3 is available)

In the meantime, checking your SSR, I am able to see that WooCommerce core and the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin are both outdated. You can see if updating these makes any difference.

pangja/woocommerce/cart/cart.php version 7.0.1 is out of date. The core version is 7.9.0

pangja/woocommerce/cart/mini-cart.php version 5.2.0 is out of date. The core version is 7.9.0

pangja/woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php version 3.5.1 is out of date. The core version is 7.8.0

Also, it seems there are a number of outdated theme templates. This can also cause unexpected and conflicting behavior.

You can read more about updating outdated templates here:

We always recommend ensuring that you have a good backup of your full site and database before performing any updates, so that, should something go wrong, you are able to easily restore your site to a functioning state.

Hope this points you in the right direction 🙂
