  • Hi, pkclubpaul, could you please supply additional information about what

My site refers to a blank page when discarding a product.

    means?

When you refer to discarding, does that mean sending the product to the “Trash”?

In any event, since this is related to WooCommerce, I would recommend creating a new support topic in the WooCommerce support threads (with the additional answers to my questions) as their support community would be best able to assist you with this issue:

No need to apologize. You should see my terrible Dutch 🙂 In fact your English is perfectly acceptable.

Blank as in a plain white screen with absolutely no visible content at all? That is referred to as the “White Screen of Death” or WSoD. It’s not as ominous as it sounds. It likely means PHP encountered a fatal error. Check you error log file to learn what caused it. Or define WP_DEBUG as true in wp-config.php so error messages appear on screen. Once the issue is resolved, be sure to restore it to false.

Bear in mind error messages tell us where PHP realized there’s a problem and stopped execution. It may or may not be the root cause of the error. In any case, using WooCommerce support like Ian suggested really is your best recourse. It’ll be helpful if they know what error messages were generated.

Another thing you can do is confirm the issue is really within WC by deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default twenty* theme. If the error still occurs, it’s almost certainly a WC issue. If the problem has gone, narrow down the cause by restoring your theme and plugins, one at a time until the problem recurs. The last activated will be the cause and you should take up the issue in their dedicated support channel instead of over at WC as suggested earlier.
