WooCommerce Category not working

    Hi,

    My woocommerce shop page is displaying all of the products in my shop, but i want it to display the categories.

    I have done this and it did not work:
    Click on Appearance > Customize
    Then go to WooCommerce > Product Catalog
    Select “show categories” from Shop Page Display
    Click on Save Changes

    I also made sure that my products are in a category and that each category (besides the main category) has a parent category.

    Please kindly assist as to what else i can do.

    Hi there!

    To reconfirm, you only want product categories to be displayed in the shop page, right?

    And you’ve already configured the same under WP Admin > Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog > Shop Page display?

    If yes, could you temporarily switch to Storefront https://woocommerce.com/products/storefront/?aff=10486&cid=1131038 theme and check if you’re able to replicate the same behavior with that theme enabled?

    You might want to set up a staging site for testing if this cannot be done on the live site. This plugin lets you set up Staging sites (ensuring the live site stays intact during the testing process) : https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/

    If that doesn’t help, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Along with a link to the staging site, where you’ve performed the conflict test so that we can further investigate this.
