WooCommerce Catalog Image Size issues.

Ok so I have this problem which I seriously cannot get my head around. Its the catalog image sizes in woo commerce.

The images are not cropping, or at least I think they are not cropping. I know some images are slightly small which im sure a crop will not fix, but some are displaying too large. I went to woo commerce settings >> products >> display changed the catalog image dimensions to the smaller product image and regenerated thumbnails which made absolutely no changes whatsoever.

Basically, I am just trying to get the images consistent in size so it looks the part.

Any ideas?
