HI BlueLily,
I had a similar issue in trying to load products and images from Printify to Woocommerce. After going round and round with Printify Support, we finally determined it is a timeout session that is causing the issue. The problem is with the timeout on Imagik which was set at 30 seconds.
this came from Printify Support:
“You need to contact hosting company to solve this issue. b'<br />\n<b>Fatal error</b>
Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in <b>/home2/XXXXXXX/public_html/XXXXXXX.com/wp-includes/class-wp-image-editor-imagick.php</b> on line <b>363</b><br />\n’ ”
I haven’t tried this solution yet as this project was an experiment and has since been relegated to the back burner.
But its a start.
See if you can increase your timeout sessions with your hosting company.
Hi, thank you for your reply. My hosting company has said that it may be that the plugin is only compatible up to 4.8.5 and my WordPress is 4.9.1. They think that may be the issue. I don’t know anymore. Do you use a different company for print on demand?
hi Blue,
I do not use anything else… though I know other friends that have used Printly instead of Printify.
It could be a compatability issue. Have you talked with Printify Support about it?
The reason I like Printify is they have a wider variety and better pricing on some of their shirts than other places.
But as noted.,.. I put that particular project on hold for a while.
I have reached out to Printify a lot and they said they were doing what they could to try and fix it. I hope so as I agree, they offer a wide variety and their prices are really good. I could use Etsy as they showed up right away on there but just like having them on my own site.
