• Hello.

After updating WooCommerce to 10.8.0, I can’t create or properly update products.

When I add a new product, configure its settings, and click “Publish” (or “Update” if I edit an existing product), I am immediately redirected to /wp-admin/edit.php (the blog posts list). The product is saved as a draft, but any further updates are not saved. This issue occurs with both simple and variable products.

    Environment Info:

    • WordPress Version: 7.0
    • WooCommerce Version: 10.8.0
    • WooCommerce Database Version: 10.8.0-2
    • PHP Version: 8.4.20
    • Web Server: LiteSpeed
    • Database: 11.4.9-MariaDB
    • WP Memory Limit: 1000 MB
    • WP Debug Mode: Enabled
    • PHP Max Input Vars: 10000

Any help or guidance on how to fix this would be highly appreciated.

    Hi @adamsrx,

We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing an issue with the new update.

The product publish/update issue you’re describing is often indicates a plugin conflict or theme compatibility issue. A few things to try:

    1. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and switch to a default theme (Twenty Twenty-Five), then try publishing a product. This will tell us if it’s a plugin/theme conflict.
    2. On LiteSpeed, go to your hosting control panel and clear the PHP OPcache, then test again.
    3. Go to WooCommerce → Status → Get system report, paste it at https://pastebin.com and share the link here.

Could you also check your WooCommerce error logs under WooCommerce → Status → Logs for any entries around the time you try to publish a product? That would help identify what’s causing the redirect.

    Looking forward to your response.
