Hi @devmitrovics,
Cross testing for you on two separate installs of WooCommere all emails from WooCommerece are being sent out correctly via WordPress on both installs and it’s not behaviour which I could replicate.
If you install a plugin titled WP Mail Logging on your site you will be able to see all emails which are sent out by WordPress, when these were sent and to whom they were sent to.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/
After installing this plugin on your site purchase a test order and then look in the mail log to see what emails have been sent to the WooCommerce order via WordPress.
If the emails are displaying in the log this indicates that they were sent out correctly and what you are experiencing is not receiving emails rather than those emails not sending which could be due to your host or email provider.
I think its not about email now 🙂 Maybe its totaly wrong setup from my side. Because when i go to orders in admin and click approve icon i got the emails. Can i skip that part? Because Idea was to get notification when someone purchased something from website without me going every time and clicking approve icon?
Hey @devmitrovics,
When an order is made in WooCommerce via checkout there are several emails sent out automatically like the New Order email to admin and the email related to the order status for the customer.
When you processed a new test order on the site what emails were displaying within the WP Mail Logging plugin?
Hi,
i recieve only when i go manualy and click Completed/Approve icon. When i made checkout i am redirected to third party website and order have status Pending Payment. No emails recieved. And no emails i wp mail logging.
Thanks @devmitrovics
When an order has a status of Pending Payment no emails are sent out and for emails to be sent out the order status would need to be On-Hold, Processing or Completed.
I hope this clarifies why you would not see any emails initially until you change the order status.
