When I try to add a new post I get this message at the top: Warning: number_format() expects parameter 1 to be double, string given in /homepages/12/d390887873/htdocs/blog/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/inc/class-wpseo-utils.php on line 602

When I try to save the draft it disappears. How can I fix this?

    Hey Mark,

The standard debug method is to first see if there is any plugin conflicts. Did you add any new plugins lately? If so you might deactivate them and test. Then deactivate all of them except the WordPress-SEO one as it’s throwing the error. If it’s gone then reactivate the plugins one by one and test in between.

Thanks for suggestion. Plugin deactivation didn’t fix problem. Any other suggestions?

You might post the question in the plugins support area.

Have you solved this problem? If not, you can try clearing your browser’s cache. Not sure if it’ll work, but it’s worth a shot.

Thanks for the suggestion. Clearing cache didn’t work though.

Another party had the same error message. We finally resolved the situation when we discovered the Wassup plugin had completely filled its database table so much as to exceed the host storage capacity.

Could my problem be related to having so many comments pending (89,000).

I suspect not, I have sites with 250,000 spam comments

I get so much spam I couldn’t keep up with deleting them. The blog only allows 100 deletions at a time. Is there a way to delete comments all at once?

Personally I have done with SQL via phpmyadmin. You could try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/delete-all-comments/

I’ve installed the delete all comments plugin you recommended, but how do I make it work?

Figured how to make it work. Wow, wish I know this months ago. Thanks! Still am not able to add a new post though.
