    Starting from June 19, 2026, new EU consumer protection (EU Directive 2023/2673) requirements will introduce a mandatory online Withdrawal Button (sometimes referred to as a Cancellation Button) for e-commerce stores.

    I would like to request support for this functionality for WooCommerce, so store owners can comply with the upcoming EU requirements without relying on additional plugins or custom code.

    Ideally, this feature could include:

    • A Withdrawal button available in the customer account / order details page;
    • Availability only for eligible orders and within the withdrawal period 14 days;
    • Support for custom order statuses (e.g. “Withdrawal requested”);
    • Email notifications;
    • Compatibility with WooCommerce refund workflows.

    This would help WooCommerce users remain compliant with upcoming EU regulations and simplify implementation.

    Thank you for considering this feature request.

    Hi @olessol,

    Thank you for taking the time to share this request and the detailed explanation around the upcoming EU Directive requirements. I can see how having a built in withdrawal or cancellation button in WooCommerce would help store owners stay compliant more easily, especially with handling eligible orders, workflows, and notifications directly within WooCommerce.

    At the moment, this functionality is not available in WooCommerce core, but there is already an existing feature request for it here: EU Directive Withdrawal / Cancellation Button Feature Request

    I’d recommend adding your vote and any additional details there, as our developers regularly review feature requests and community feedback when considering future improvements.
