wipes out customizer when deactivated

I haven’t seen this in testing the update, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t an issue!

The changes in this update weren’t related to Customizer load; typically when the Customizer fails to load, it’s due to the server (host) running out of memory.

Here’s some things you might try to resolve the issue:

• Downgrade to version 1.1.9. That is a link to the zip file that can be installed using this method. Careful! If for some reason you need to delete the Styles plugin to reinstall, be sure to delete manually via FTP. Deleting the plugin via the WordPress admin screen will reset its settings!!
• Does the problem go away? Please let me know if so.
• Still have the problem? Consider: Were any other plugins updated? Try disabling all other plugins. Does that resolve the problem? If so, turn them on/off in halves until you can identify the conflict. If you can tell me the plugin that’s causing the problem, we can possibly identify the conflict and work around it (or contact that plugin’s author).
• Still no good? Please see if you can turn on PHP error reporting on your host. This is a bit technical, but you can likely find direction by googling display php errors, along with your hosts (bluehost, hostgator, dreamhost, etc.)
• If you get a PHP error, please share it with me in full — the message and line number may give me information to solve the problem without needing to reproduce it
