Windows Version?

    Hi there, just a simple question. When you say you don’t support Windows, do you mean the FTP site? I have a Windows FTP site and am looking for a plugin with this type of protection. Can you recommend anything?

    Hi,

    It is not compatible with Microsoft Windows operating system. Windows servers are known as IIS (Internet Information Services).
    If you have a Linux server, it will work.

    Thanks for your reply. How do I check if I have a Linux server? Is this something my hosting company can tell me?

    Can you recommend any security plugins like this for Windows?

    Hi I have checked with my hosting provider and they have confirmed I am on a Linux server. Is this alone sufficient given I use Microsoft Windows?

    Hi

    It is fine if you have a Linux server.
    It does not matter if your own desktop/laptop is using Windows or Apple, the plugin will be installed on the server only.
