    I am a completely newbie I currently use wordpress.com and wish to migrate to wordpress.org.

    I have created by SQL database with my host and I’m trying to install but advised that I need to use SQL Server software to add files to my host but non of them seem to be compatible with Windows 10.

    I’m sure I am doing something wrong

    Is there any advice you can give a complete novice on how to get started?

    I would greatly appreciate any help.

    If you are looking to set up a server environment on a windows 10 system, then I recommend that you install packaged software that includes everything you need. XAMPP is one of the packages you may try. Here is a link to a good tutorial about XAMPP.
