Will WP Audio Player plugin play .mov files?

    I record audio from an xTag Revo mic using Quicktime Pro. (File > Record New Audio).

    Quicktime records a .mov file. I can easily convert a .mov to a .mp3 using iTunes (Advanced > Make mp3 version), but the file size of an mp3 is about twice as large as a .mov file. So twice the bandwidth for a single spoken word audio track that doesn’t need to be more than medium quality.

    I’m successfully using the WP Audio Player on .mp3 files, but I’m wondering if there is a way to make it play .mov files.
