Widgets wont save / disappear in admin

    I have a fresh virgin install on two different servers to confirm this is not a theme or plugin issue.

    WP 3.7.1 – twenty-thirteen – no plugins installed or activated

    On one site adding widgets to the widget areas works like it should.

    On the other it is hit or miss. The save will just spin and spin and spin. It might take two or three attempts to add the widget. Even switched to twenty twelve and same issues.

    The non-issue site is at http://unacc.kvtdesigns.com
    Which is hosted at downtownhost, using php 5.3.22 with MySQL 5.1.70

    The problem site is at: http://test.unacc.org

    which is hosted at hostgator, using php 5.2.17 and MySQL 5.5.33

    Both have mysql.connect_timeout set at 60

    Any insight as to what might be happening would be greatly appreciated. Can post phpinfo if needed.

    *** UPDATE ***
    WP 3.6.1 does not have same issue – works fine.
    WP 3.7.1 – widgets won’t save most of the time – just spins and spins

    Just installed WP 3.6.1 on the same server having problems with 3.7.1
    Widgets load and save *without issue*

    http://test.unacc.org = 3.7.1 – widgets wont save
    http://oldwp.unacc.org = 3.6.1 – widgets save just fine

    All clean installs on clean db’s with out any plugins.

    Plz help – can supply admin access
    phpinfo at whatsup.php at both sites.
