Widgets and Password Protection

Hi – I’m trying to create password protected pages for different people. I love the Optimizer Theme widgets, but once I enable the sidebar to add, that content is no longer password protected.
So 2 questions:
1. Is there a way to add the Optimizer widgets in the main page? Then I can still use the WordPress password protection. I really just need the About widget to maintain consistency with my main site.
or
2. Is there a simple way to password protect all page content for individual pages, including sidebar and widgets?
