Widgets

Hello,

I’m assuming I have the latest version of WordPress since I just downloaded it a month ago, but maybe not. I’m new to this, but a colleague of mine has a different default theme than me, that has widgets, and i’m trying to figure out why I don’t have widgets too.

My default theme is: WordPress Default 1.6 by Michael Heilemann
The default WordPress theme based on the famous Kubrick.

She tells me that hers says, “The default WordPress theme complete with customizable header and widgits based on the famous Kubrick.

Does she have a different version of WordPress than I? How do I get widgets??
