• For quite some time I’ve not been able to drag my widgets. I have an “add” feature now to the right of the widget. When I click on “add” it opens a dialogue box to place the widget named: Widget tubelar:
    Title:

    Icon Size:

    Icon Theme:

    Icon Align:

Select both the sidebar for this widget and the position of the widget in that sidebar.
    Sidebar Position
    Sidebar Right
    Sidebar Alt_Homepage
    Landing Pages Sidebar
    Inactive Sidebar (not used)
    Inactive Widgets
    Cancel

I thought maybe I added a plugin that did this. But – I disabled all plugins and still it is the same. Maybe a plugin I installed attached some code elsewhere? Has WordPress dropped – drop and drag? Help!

    Still a newbie.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
