Is there a way to make the widget still visible while the option to make the forum only visible to logged in users? As of now if I click the option to make Forum visible to only logged in users only under Options the Widget for most recent form post also disappears. I would like it so it still visible on the widget but if they click on the link it will go to the page where they need to log in.

    Thx.

    Hello xagorvangard,

no, this is not possible at the moment. The purpose of the “forum only visible to logged in users”-option is to hide the content from users without user-account because maybe there are some sensitive topics which should not be viewable to the public (even the title).

So I think it should be the best to decide if the content should be visible for guests too or only for logged-in users. If I provide an option for this I have to provide the same options for “moderators only”/”usergroups only”/and other forums as well which would be an overload on configuration-functionality for a plugin which I want to keep as simple as possible.

Got it. Thanks for the explanation. Make sense. Regards.
