You can try to possibly use the following CSS: .gt_float_switcher, .gt_float_switcher .gt-selected {background-color:unset!important}
It will remove the white background from the selector.
My suggestion would be to use Flags with language names widget look instead, so that it will blend into your menu naturally, you just need to make sure your menu system supports sub-menu items, so they can dropdown upon hover.
The Float widget look is mainly designed to float on a corner of your screen using Show floating language selector option and trying to squeeze it into some tight spaces is usually not a good idea.
