[Resolved] Widget shortcode and PHP code?

  • Hi folks!

I’m currently using a theme that has its own events section. I’m not crazy about it so I want to replace it with The Events Calendar.

    Here is my page:
    http://new.communitycenter.org.tw/

The events section you see on the home page is the one that comes with the theme. I want to replace that with The Events Calendar Widget. Is there a shortcode I can use?

Looking at the editor I can put in a PHP code as well. Not sure if this is a stupid question but is there a PHP code shortcode as well?

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Raptor2771,

At this time The Events Calendar does not have short codes. You might try linking directly to The Events Calendar via your site’s menu, and not showing a link to the built-in calendar. If that doesn’t work, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if there’s a way to turn off the built in calendar, or if there’s another option that would work.

    Good luck!
    ~Leah
