Widget options for footer?

    I just downloaded the latest calendar plugin. Are there any configuration options for placing it in the footer and display the next 3-5 upcoming events? I’ve done it, but the calendar generated is way too large (tall) for the footer (a whole month grid). Are there any other options for configurations to work in a footer area and display a few items? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Did you use it in a widget? You could try a compact list to see if that helps.
