My first guess would be that the CSS optimizing plugin you are using is removing the SSI CSS from your site. Try disabling that plugin to see if that fixes it.

Has this issue been resolved @ethanalvin? I’m currently having the same issue with the icons not showing properly. I do not have a CSS optimizing plugin installed.

Yes it has been resolved. The issue was caused by a CSS optimizing plugin.
