Widget not selecting the calendar

I just found and installed the Simple Calendar (google) addon and it looked for a minute like everything was going wonderfully. I got the API code and was able to get it to build a page for me using my google calendar account.
As evidenced by:
http://gator4128.hostgator.com/~tba/bvbeeks.org/calendar/bvbeeks-google-calendar/However, what I really wanted it to do was to put it in a widget in an already existing page –> http://gator4128.hostgator.com/~tba/bvbeeks.org/events/calendar/
However, when I drag the Simple Calendar widget into the column, I do not get a screen that looks like the instructions step #4 at http://docs.simplecalendar.io/add-calendar-widget/
So then I tossed that and tried to just add it to the page as described in http://docs.simplecalendar.io/attach-calendar-to-post/. But as you can tell, that looks like … well… not good.
