Widget help date displaying in wrong place

Hi guys I need help with a Recent Posts Widget, if you go to readcookeat.com and have a look at the right sidebar, I have displayed my recent posts, BUT if you look under the image there is a space of blank and then the date it was posted underneath that blank space. Well, what I want to do is move everything up 1 space rather than leave a random blank space there, I hope I explained myself well enough, thanks guys!
